Belajar Wacana Quantifier
Untuk menunjang pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di SMP/MTs, Penulis sengaja menulis dan posting artikel yang berkaitan dengan Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Pada kesempatan kali ini penulis ingin discuss wacana "Quatifier".
Quantifier ialah kata-kata yang memberikan seberapa banyak jumlah sesuatu(kuantitas).

1. Some
Some artinya beberapa. Digunakan untuk kalimat kasatmata dan kalimat pertanyaan yang mempunyai asumsi akhir “ya”
Contoh : I have some cats .
She has some sugar in the kitchen.
There is some salt in the bowl.
Do you have some pencils? Yes, I do.
2. Any
Some artinya bebrapa. Digunakan untuk kalimat negatif dan kalimat pertanyaan yang mempunyai asumsi akhir “tidak”
Contoh : There are not any cars in the garage.
I don’t have any money
Are there any students in the classroom? No, there aren’t
Does she bring any ink? No, she doesn’t.
3. Article a/an
a/an artinya sebuah, seekor, seorang (satu)
a dipakai untuk kata benda yang abjad depannya konsonan.
an dipakai untuk kata benda yang abjad depannya vokal.
Contoh: a dog, a book, an apple, an orange, an egg
I have a monkey in my home.
We have an eggplant.
